Only once in a while does a female of this magnitude arise and we were fortunate enough to attain Beletta as a bred heifer from Hinman Angus as a bred heifer. From her very first calf, Beletta has been stellar in her production with Moonshine (link) who was named Grand Champion Angus Bull at the 2002 Frontier Days Show as well Reserve Grand Champion Overall Breeds. Quite a feat to say the least for any calf! Next on Beletta's list was a daughter by Sitz Traveler 043 is now owned by Bandura Ranches after being the High Selling Female in the Forsyth Ranch dispersal. Then there was Centennial who also at an early age was impressive and was ahead of his contemporary group in every way. At the 2005 Saskatchewan Angus Gold Show Centennial was named Reserve Grand Champion, yet another accomplishment considering the tanbark isn't something we focus on, you know it was Centennial that earned the accomplishment on his own. The Masterpiece Sale at Agribition was the setting which we sold 2/3 interest and Full Possession to Sooline Cattle Co and Forsyth Ranch for $40,000, at that very sale we also sold a 1/2 interest in Beletta 0219 for $40,000 to Forsyth Ranch as well. The in dam coupon which was clipped was yet another bull calf who raised the production bar on Beletta to yet another level with a son by the immortal Leachman Right Time named Duration. We showed Duration at the 2006 Agribition where he was a Class Winner and gained many friends as he was also offered in the 2006 Masterpiece Sale. Duration was sold for $22,000 and now resides at Johnson Livestock and Eastondale Angus where he has done a bang up job breeding there. Beletta 0219 has produced over $174,000 in progeny to date including the Tradition brothers, Conclusive bulls and her sons have earned a valuation average of $15,218 on her bull calves. We have tried to implement her qualities into every animal that we have to produce quality, consistent cattle that excel in production and carry disposition that are noticeably second to none.
